CUHK (Shenzhen) Futian Biomedical Innovation R&D Center

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen Futian Biomedical Innovation R&D Center ("The Center") are located on the 10th floor of Building D in the Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Science and Technology Park, and on the 1st floor of the International BIomedical Industry Park (Phase I), respectively, in Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone. Covering an area of approximately 3,700 sqaure meters, the Center consists of various functional areas such as general laboratory, cell culture room, protein drug pilot laboratory, biomedical analysis and testing laboratory, microbiological laboratory, biomedical data analysis laboratory, administractive office, exhibition hall, and lecture room, etc.

The Center have already been developed 4 biomedical R&D platforms: 1) Platform for Drug Target and Innovative Drug Development; 2) Platform for Biological Big Data Analysis and Application; 3) Platform for Precision and Regenerative Medicine Research Transformation; 4) Platform for Traditional Chinese Medicine Modernization and Medicinal Chemistry Synthesis. Currently, the four research platforms have a total of 37 research projects, and they also provide 15 high-end research service projects tailored to different functions and objectives.
