International Digital Economy Academy (IDEA)

The International Digital Economy Academy (IDEA), located on the39th and 57th floors of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Collaborative Innovation Center, was established in 2020. It is an international innovation research institute for artificial intelligence, the digital economy industry, and other cutting-edge technology. IDEA implements a president responsibility system under the leadership of its council. The founder and chairman of  IDEA, Shen Xiangyang was a foreign member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, a foreign fellow of the U.K. Royal Academy of Engineering, and a former global executive vice president of Microsoft. IDEA is involved in the pioneering research of core technologies and key applications in the fields of the digital economy and artificial intelligence. It is intended to cultivate a world-class scientific research and engineering team and produce a number of ground-breaking technical innovations with bright prospects for industrialization.
