Shenzhen-Hong Kong Open Innovation Center

Shenzhen－Hong Kong Open Innovation Center is located atthesoutheastern corner of Ronghua Road and Zijin Road intheShenzhensectionof Shenzhen－Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone （SHCZ），Shenzhen Futian Bonded Zone．The zone is on Metro Line3． Covering an area of 26，000 square meters， it has a total floor space of210，000 square meters． Thetotal areaof the centeris157，000 square meters．

Shenzhen－Hong Kong Open Innovation Center，one of the first batch of demonstration projects ofthe cooperationzone， is designed by Schneider＋Schumacher Staedtebau GmbH and is a high－quality science research and development base．

Thebuilding issupported by10．8－meter－highcolumns，equipped with aheavy－load （750－1，000kg／per square meter） super power supply，acentralized sewage treatmentsystemandanindependent waste gas discharge system． The innovation center is also equipped withascience innovation demonstration space，ascience innovation sharing space，ascience innovation socializing space andascience innovation auxiliary facility space．  

The first floor of the center has the biggest and best quality science demonstration and conventionspaceinthe cooperation center．  

The fitnessfacilities， science education bases， sharing labs and recreation areas for researchers are located on the second and third floor． On the rooftop， there are aerial gardenscreatedaround eight different themes for scientists to meet， socialize， relax， and view the Shenzhen River andtheHong Kong wetland opposite the river．

Work on the projectbegan in July2020， andthe innovation centeris scheduled to be put into usein the second half of2023．
